Sound Mixer-Audio Supervisor/Camera Operator.  I worked directly with John Walsh  shooting, Mixing Audio, Acting,  and conducting interviews. I joined the team Directly after American River college  in 1996 as the production road crew through roughly 42 states and 2 countries over 13 years. I Trained in as Assistant Camera, then became the Audio Supervisor in 1998. 

I spent those 13 years working directly with the Center for Missing and Exploited Children, Interpol, Coast Guard, FBI, homeland security, and local law enforcement to apprehend  some very bad actors in almost every state. The stories were often times Hard to tell, but necessary for public awareness. Americas Most Wanted was the crew I grew into my talents and skill set, very long hours, and I did not unpack my suitcase for 13 years while working with some of the most talented and driven people in the industry.

Los Angeles, CA. Dutch Harbor, AK — 2007-2008

Audio Supervisor, Camera operator, Specialty Camera, Time Lapse Photographer, Producer, and equipment management.  I worked on the  “Land Crab” crew in Dutch Harbor, Alaska and was later given My own ship to shoot and produce aboard the Early Dawn on the Bearing Sea. I have experienced 40 foot waves, 80 mile an hour gale force winds, and sub arctic temperatures with sheets of ice that demanded constant maintenance and upkeep of camera gear. This coupled with life threatening conditions that honed the senses, tested endurance, and fortified grit all while producing some of the most captivating footage of the Aleutian Chain of Islands is Alaska. I rigged the North American, The Wizard, North Western, including other boats in the fleet with PTZ Cameras, remote Cameras, 24 hour record decks and Audio. I was also in charge of general maintenance and inventory of all the camera and Audio equipment utilizing  my technical abilities in field maintenance. Having had trained in Swift water rescue, and Bearing sea survival, I later received an Emmy Award in 2008 for my Camera/Producing credits in “No Mercy” season 4.  Sig Hansen offered me a position on his boat as a fisherman…. I graciously declined.

Remote Pilot in Command part 107 certified, article 62 licensed Drone Pilot, Camera operator, Specialty Camera.  My duties were to travel to abandoned prisons, Hospitals, and Asylums to produce “Spooky Content” through creative lighting, and capturing the events that occur when the sun goes down. A true creative outlet that enabled me to obtain stunning cinematography, complex Drone Missions all while contributing visual storyline for some very thrilling, and adrenaline fueled content.

Sumpter, OR- Wickenberg, AZ — 2013

Audio Supervisor, Sound Mixer, Sound Devices 788T Audio Recordist. Defiantly the second most challenging Audio of my professional  career. My duties were to keep two SoundDevices 788T recording and running with 16 Wireless TX and RX, multiple frequencies and blocks simultaneously, totaling 16 individual Audio Tracks, feeding up to 4 cameras.  At 6am we would enter the portal of the mine, shoot our content, then wrap and exit after 6pm. We were underground all day, through complex corridors and miles of underground passages in the Vulture and Hercules Mine. Paranormal Science fiction television at its finest. I was required to complete the MSHA Qualifications (Mine Safety and Health) essential for subterranean survival. I remember the forest fire we escaped, racing through 15 miles of switch back off-road trails, slipping through to safety, narrowly escaping the grasp of fire as we broke free from the heart of the flame that had surrounded us.
